P.S. These are the best pegboard accessories for an extra-organized workspace.
For the most part, we only use pegboard in one way: by tacking it to a wall and having one of the sides available for hanging up tools. Plus, this design is completely flexible and can be sized to fit your needs.
Hardboard pegboard is very affordable. A 2-ft. by 4 ft. panel will cost you around $12 to $15. Plastic and metal pegboards are pricier. For the same size, plastic pegboard will run around $50 to $60, and metal pegboards anywhere from $60 to $100.
Plastic pegboard (usually made from polypropylene) is generally considered a better choice than hardboard. It will never rust, splinter, or warp and is durable enough to support heavier items. And unlike hardboard that often requires furring strips for installation, plastic pegboard comes ready to mount with built-in spacers. But keep in mind, plastic pegboard is more expensive than hardboard.
